On your walks, you may be lucky enough to come across some sheep. A veritable living lawnmower, they are there to maintain the banks of the Loire. They can be seen in the nature reserve, but also on the quays in Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire and Pouilly-sur-Loire.
Vineyard hike video debrief!
David from the ‘carnet de rando’ blog tells us all about his hike around Pouilly-sur-Loire.
Most people come to the Nièvre for the Morvan. But to limit the department to its famous mountain range would be to overlook the rest of the region, which is wonderfully welcoming, delightfully intimate and rich in flavour. One of the most famous is Pouilly Fumé, a Sauvignon Blanc-based white wine with an unrivalled reputation. A pleasant stroll through the fiefdom of this historic AOC.

Do you know Sacha?
Play circuits for children
Children have not been forgotten either, as Sacha and his friends will be joining them on a family visit to the town. Attractive little booklets are on sale at the Tourist Office. A fun way to learn more while having fun.
