The end of the year is approaching*, the exhibition Raconte-nous une histoire is in its final days, and all the works collected for the occasion will soon be returning to storage or to their original museum... The Musée de la Loire is offering you the chance to discover or rediscover the exhibition one last time, free of charge, on Friday and Saturday afternoons between 2pm and 5.30pm.
What's more, a few days after the Christmas Market organised by the town, the Musée de la Loire will be showcasing its gift shop, offering a host of gift ideas for young and old alike: books on art or the Loire, exhibition catalogues, books on Cosne, Nevers earthenware or painted porcelain, key rings, cuddly toys, puzzles, etc.
We have also invited the Camosine and Olivier Loiseaux (author of La vocation de saint Nicolas - Des rives de la Loire à l'Allemagne du IIIe Reich) to take part in the exhibition. Both will be presenting their books, and visitors will be able to get a personalised dedication if they wish.
* The museum is due to reopen on 2 April 2025, for a new season full of surprises. Groups and schools are welcome by appointment during the closed season.
