Christian Leiser, craftsman-baker-pastry maker, will create in 1997 the Craquant du Val de Loire biscuit. In 2002, the title of "Best Biscuit of France" was awarded to this little cake. This biscuit made with almonds and hazelnuts is nowadays made in the heart of the biscuit factory "Les Craquants" in Pouilly-sur-Loire, for the greatest happiness of the Pouillyssois people.
